Turkey thigh fillet baked in an oven

Tasty and juicy turkey thigh fillet. The result is nice! Recipe is worthwhile and applicable for different purposes. Additionally, it is easy and fast to cook this dish, as well as very nourishing and gentle.

  • Turkey thigh (Boneless thigh fillet) (500g)
  • Sour cream (2 tablespoons)
  • Ready-made mustard (1 tablespoon)
  • Garlic (2 cloves)
  • Salt, milled pepper to your liking

  1. You need boneless turkey thigh fillet. If needed, defrost it, wash it and peel the skin off.
  2. Mix sour cream and ready-made mustard in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to your liking, cut cloves of garlic into thin pieces.
  3. Take any heat-resistant baking dish with high bumpers. Smear it with vegetable oil, then put turkey fillet into it. Smear all sides with a mixture of sour cream and mustard.
  4. Apply chopped garlic evenly to the meat. Cover the baking dish with a foil cap. Put it into the fridge to marinate for an hour (or for the whole night if possible). The longer meat is marinated, the tastier and gentler it is.
  5. In advance (10-15 minutes before cooking) heat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the meat for an hour or more. The longer meat is in the oven under the cap, the juicier and gentler it is. Since all ovens have different parameters, time and temperature might differ. So how to check whether the dish is ready or not? If it is easy to pierce it with a knife and juice flows out, so it is ready.
  6. Remove the foil and bake the turkey for additional 10 minutes so that its surface gets ruddy. When done, serve the meat while it is hot. Boiled potatoes, rice, and vegetables are a perfect side-dish. When the meat is chilled, you can cut it into slices. The dish goes well with red wine.

Enjoy your meal!
