Baked turkey

Baked turkey is the main dish at every feast. Indushkin offers our own recipe.


  • A whole turkey (4-6 kg)
  • Vegetable oil (0,2 l)
  • Seasonings mixture for grill (0,1kg)
  • Lard (0,3 kg)
  • Salt
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Carrots
  • Celery stalks
  • Parsley

  1. Wash the turkey with cold water, let it dry, and then blot it with a paper towel. Then rub all sides with a mixture of spices, salt, and vegetable oil, and let it be marinated for 2-3 hours.
  2. While the turkey is marinated, you can cook minced meat as follows: cut vegetables and lard in small pieces, then mix it.
  3. Stuff the marinated turkey with a mixture of vegetables and lard.
  4. Tie the turkey with a string so that its shape remains the same, put it into an oven, heated to 130-140℃, and bake it for 2-3 hours, sprinkling it with its juice from time to time.
  5. When the turkey is finished, put it on a big plate and decorate with some vegetables and fruits.
