Delicious turkey steak on a pan

Ingredients (3 portions)

  • Turkey (500g)
  • Soy sauce (50 ml)
  • Mustard (1 tablespoon)
  • Salt to your liking
  • Dried spices to your liking
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) (30g)

Cooking steps (Cooking time is 1 h 30 min)

  1. How to fry a steak on a pan? Prepare products from the list, then prepare a marinade. Put soy sauce, mustard, salt, and spices in a huge bowl, then mix everything. You can use any marinade you like.
  2. Wash turkey fillet with water, then dry it with paper towels and cut into steaks with 2-3 cm thickness. It is better to use skinless and boneless fillet parts of a turkey for this dish. Apply marinade and then leave the fillet for some time. Since turkey meat is very gentle, it is enough to marinate it for 30-60 minutes.
  3. Remove all the liquids and excess marinade from the turkey, otherwise the meat will splash when being fried. You can blot the meat with paper towels or tissues.
  4. Pour some vegetable oil on the pan and put the steaks carefully. Fry steaks at a high temperature for 1-2 minutes. You should not put too many pieces at once. It is enough to put 2-3 pieces at one time to let the meat be not too close to each other.
  5. Then, flip the turkey and fry another side. The meat will be covered with crust soon and keep the juice inside. Now reduce the heat until and cook done, frying each side at a lower temperature for 3-4 minutes. Timing might depend on your cooker.
  6. Then turn off the heat, cover the pan with a cap and leave the meat for 10 minutes. When it is done, put it on the plate and then you can start to eat.

Enjoy your meal!
