Pan-cooked turkey with creamy sauce

Pan-cooked turkey with creamy sauce is a perfect dish for a family, which is easy and fast to cook.

Ingredients:

  • Turkey fillet (480g)
  • Cream (20% fats) (200 ml)
  • Hard cheese (40g)
  • 2 sprigs of parsley (8g)
  • A sprig of dill (4g)
  • Vegetable oil (1.6 tablespoon)
  • Corn starch (0.8 tablespoon)
  • Italian spices (0.8 tablespoon)
  • Milled black pepper to your liking
  • Salt to your liking

What cuts of turkey are the best for this dish? You can take gentle lean breast fillet or fatter thigh meat. We choose low-fat tenderloin.

  1. Wash the fillet and then dry it. Cut it into pieces.
  2. Add some salt, some pepper, and dried herbs but you can add other spices to your liking.
  3. Sprinkle starch on meat and mix it carefully so that every piece is covered with breading. Leave it for 15-20 minutes to be marinated. You can choose potato starch or wheat flour instead of cornstarch.
  4. Grate the cheese with a big or average grater.
  5. Heat some vegetable oil on a pan at a high temperature and fry all sides of turkey until the crust gets golden. Then reduce the heat, pour cold cream, and mix.
  6. Braise the turkey in cream at a low heat under the cap for 20-30 minutes until done. Sauce will get thicker because of starch.
  7. Sprinkle some grated cheese and mix. Cheese will melt soon and get mixed with the sauce. Braise the dish for 1-2 minutes.
  8. At the end, sprinkle the turkey with shredded greens and serve the dish.

Enjoy your meal!
