Representatives of the international organization GAC have visited Indiushkin turkey meat complex to learn about production processes, with a particular focus on the technology of slaughtering and deep processing of turkey meat. The experts from Roskachestvo-Halal, observers from the GCC Accreditation Center and representatives of the Meleuz Cathedral Mosque have concluded that the slaughter and processing of turkey meat, and even equipment meet halal standards. It is important to mention that the Indiushkin complex is one of the largest turkey meat producers in Russia, with a total flock of 800,000 birds and an annual production volume of 30,000 – 35,000 tons of meat.
